Lately I've been working with a friend to invent a few labels to hang on cliches of personality. The tags generally arise in the course of conversation and are difficult to come up with on the spot, so we've failed to invent enough of them to warrant a list post. So far we have a grand total of two. I'll just start with the first one, with hope that more are forthcoming and apologies to Rich and Matt in case they ever read this:
nec·ro·phon·i·ac
n.
A person who opposes and rejects the standards and
customs of contemporary rock, especially one who advocates extreme rejection of modern artistry deriving from any technology or musical device which post-dates the sixties.
asinility: A state of being ... A combination of being or acting both asinine and senile. Usually referred to an older curmudgeon of a person speaking what you perceive as pure babble ... much like I hope to become.
"Wow did you hear that guy? What an extreme case of asinility."
